#Our Story
For over 20 years, our home has been more than just a house; it has been a hospital, a nursery, and a refuge.
We didn't start as an organization; we started as two people who couldn't look away from an animal in need. We have operated entirely from our own pockets—funding medical care, food, and shelter for hundreds of animals.
To save more lives, we needed to build something bigger than ourselves. We decided it was time to transition from a private rescue into a public sanctuary.
#Who We Are
An Italian/Ghanaian citizen residing in Ghana since 2003. For over 20 years, she has rescued hundreds of sick and injured cats and dogs, personally financing all medical and feeding costs. She currently hosts over 50 cats and 3 dogs in her home.
A psychology graduate from Winneba University. She manages 54 cats and one dog. To protect them, she took a loan to build a temporary shelter where she also sleeps to prevent the animals from being stolen at night.
We are building a permanent, sustainable facility designed to house:
Moving from "saving them in our home" to "building them a home of their own."
To lead a movement of compassion across Ghana where every domestic animal has a place to call home.
To provide a permanent sanctuary of safety, healing, and lifelong care for abandoned and vulnerable animals.
#Support Our Mission
Direct donations go straight toward construction materials, veterinary bills, and daily nutrition.
Maintaining a sanctuary requires more than just funds—we are always in need of physical supplies.
Don't have room at home? You can "adopt" one of our residents virtually!
How it works: choose a specific cat or one of our 4 dogs. Your monthly sponsorship covers their specific medical and dietary needs, and we'll send you regular updates on your "furry godchild".
You don't need to spend a cent to make a difference.
